Hardy Nursery Stock since 1978
The nursery was established by Tim Grace in 1978 to supply wholesale shrubs to local landscapers. Originating in the old nurseries for a local park, we now operate our Cash and Carry from the centre of Mirfield. Demand and production expanded in the 1980’s and this lead to production moving to the walled gardens of Kirklees Hall, a 16th Century Grade I listed Jacobean building believed to be the final resting place of Robin Hood.
The Hall, Park and estate are privately owned and permit no public access but many of our plants can be seen at Beaumont Park and Greenhead Park . For more information on the local area, please visit the Kirklees Council website .
Our production team now cultivate an extensive range of shrubs and herbaceous perennials, including specimen plants to create instant impact. Quality is paramount – we maximise hardiness and yields by allowing our stock the space and time to mature.
