Frequently Asked Questions
Prices and Quotations: All prices are subject to VAT and are subject to change, dependent on availability at the time of quotation. All goods remain the property of Knowl Park Nurseries until paid for in full. We will endeavour to return quotations quickly. Please indicate when requesting a quotation whether you will require delivery or will collect.
Ordering and Payment: Trade orders must be confirmed in writing by post, fax or by email. Cash and Carry customers; payment must be made in advance or at time of collection. Trade accounts can be set up on request and only after full credit reference checks have been completed. We do NOT accept debit cards and cheques may only be accepted upon successful account set-up. For orders exceeding £500.00 (exc. VAT) of Knowl Park Nurseries stock, we also offer a full supply service, sourcing plant material from the UK and Europe.
Order Cancellations: Orders not accepted for delivery within 90 days of order, or within 30 days of an agreed delivery date, will be deemed to have been cancelled and costs become payable. The minimum cancellation cost will be 30% of order value.
Plants purchased by Knowl Park Nurseries specifically to fulfill the requirements of an order and subsequently cancelled will be invoiced in full, irrespective of the date of order or the required delivery date.
Order Lifting: Orders over £300.00 (exc. VAT) can be lifted up to 5 days in advance by arrangement. Orders not collected within 5 days of lifting will be returned to stock and a restocking fee may be charged.
Delivery: Delivery is free for orders over £500.00 (exc. VAT) within West Yorkshire. UK national deliveries outside of West Yorkshire will be charged at cost. For Cash and Carry customers, we operate a local delivery service if required. Minimum charge is £40, within a 10-mile radius of the nursery. Subject to availability, orders can usually be despatched within 48 hours of receipt.
Collections: Access to Knowl Park Cash and Carry is restricted for articulated vehicles over 7.5 tonne. To make alternative arrangements, please call 01924 492645.
Complaints: We cannot be held responsible for losses caused by frost, drought, or other weather conditions. Plants damaged in transit will only be replaced if carriage is by our own transport. Complaints must be made in writing within 7 days of supply to KNOWL PARK NURSERIES, Knowl Road, Mirfield, West Yorkshire, WF14 9UU. If a complaint is not notified to us in writing within 7 days of supply, we are unable to provide replacement plants or refunds.
